So you don’t mind if industrial waste goes into the river that supplies your drinking water; you don’t care what the air looks (or smells!) like over your city or if it kills your asthmatic neighbor; you don’t care if the paint in your child’s room contains lead (don’t think your toddler won’t eat it; I’ve never yet met a 2-year-old that didn’t think “explore” means “taste it”).
