There are times I would like to see our country say, “the hell with the rest of the world.” If the Europeans think Ukraine is worth saving, then THEY should be arming Ukraine. It’s more their fight than ours. I would like to see shitpants Joe and his family sent to the front lines in Ukraine since they’re responsible for this war getting started.
Wilddog, I agree 100%. Let Europe fight Zelensky’s war. Why should we? We have no obligation. The war is helping to bankrupt America and is depleting our military stockpile. Let’s cut our losses.
Europe has a lot more to lose than America does. Since 1918, America has spent trillions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of American lives to defend (and free) Europe through two World Wars, the Marshall Plan to rebuild Europe after WW2 and paying for the defense of Europe during the Cold War. I think that we have done enough. Also, America has given Europe very favorable trade agreements to improve and sustain their economies — at our expense. America hasn’t received much in return. Instead of using their savings to bolster their own defense, they wasted it on foolish Socialist programs and policies that bred laziness and dependency on government. By forming the European Union (EU), they actually put up barriers to impede fair trade that hurt American businesses. Ingrates. The Russian wolf is outside their door, not ours. Let them handle it.
